Join Chef Melissa in learning some hands on kitchen basics. This exciting experience will include mastering basic knife skills, creating temporary emulsions such as vinaigrette dressings, designing homemade flavored butters and a basic pan sear method you can use for steaks, seafood and more. Dinner discussions will include the basics of monthly menu planning, creating homemade stocks for soups and stews, and creative ways to use leftovers. Our menu for the evening will include Mixed greens with a hot balsamic and bacon vinaigrette, Pan Seared Sea Scallops over creamy stone ground Grits with a mixed pepper coulis and Leaning Ladder’s incredible baguettes slathered with our homemade butters. $45.00 per person.
